Exercise is essential

I have found that one of the key things that helped me to better health was the development of a regular exercise plan. Some key thoughts on this are as follows:
  • Best time to exercise is first thing in the morning
  • Correct Aerobic/steady exercise not anaerobic - intense exercise
  • Correct Breathing - Inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth for at least 10 minutes every morning and evening.
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Brisk walks
  • Cycling
  • Swimming
  • Regular exercise (6 days per week) to be healthy, not necessarily strong or hyper fit. Remember that you can be strong or even very fit but not be healthy!
  • Stretches are also part of a healthy exercise regime
  • Get professional advice
  • Get a trainer
  • Take time for yourself, it can even help you make time for others.
  • Learn to relax
  • Ask for professional and expert help and advice
